Ryu Joon Yeol’s C-JeS Studios Acquires Hyeri’s Creative Group

Ryu Joon Yeol’s C-JeS Studios bought Hyeri’s Creative Group ING.

April 5 reports said C-JeS Studios bought Creative Group ING for 1.3 billion won ($959,863.84 USD). Though many of the top stockholders are the same, the two companies managed independently until now. Integrating management and managing artists is expected after the acquisition.

C-JeS Studios bought 51% of JN Agent, another entertainment company, for 1 billion won ($737,757.70 USD). C-JeS is reportedly making these measures to make up for its slow performance over the past two years, which included a 6.5 billion won operational loss last year.

Because former couple Ryu Joon Yeol and Hyeri will share a parent firm, the deal is generating news. The two split last year after 8 years of dating, while Ryu Joon Yeol’s “transit relationship” with actress Han So Hee was confirmed to have ended two weeks after going public.

In other developments, Ryu Joon Yeol will star in ‘The 8 Show’ on Netflix and Hyeri in ‘Victory’.
