Son Heung Min Spends 29 Million USD On Ultra-Luxury Gangnam Mansion

California Legendary Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and South Korean national team player Son Heung Min allegedly spent 40 billion Korean won (about 29 million USD) on a unit in the ultra-luxurious ‘Eterno Apgujeong’ complex in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. ‘Eterno Apgujeong,’ a unit in the Eterno Cheongdam Apartments, was reportedly purchased by Son Heung Min on June 27, according to industry sources. The ultra-luxurious Eterno Apgujeong house starts at a price of at least 20 billion KRW (~14.4 million USD). Priced at 70 billion KRW (~50.5 million USD), the mega penthouse occupies three stories. Whether Son Heung Min will actually live in the apartment is still up in the air. On the other hand, experts in the field think that, with Son Heung Min’s busy schedule in England, his family is more inclined to remain there. With the exception of a small number of super penthouses and regular terrace mansions, every form of penthouse in Eterno Apgujeong has already been sold out. It has been established that Son Heung Min has purchased a penthouse, but the exact type is still up for debate. The 29-unit Eterno Apgujeong is set to be completed in 2028 and is situated at the location of Hyosung Villa Complex B (82-7 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul). Hyundai Construction is in charge of the building. The fact that this is Rafael Moneo, a famous Spanish architect,’s first project in Asia has made it a media darling. Comparing the site area to Eterno Cheongdam, it is about 1.6 times larger. Moneo was also responsible for the design of Eterno Cheongdam, which came before Eterno Apgujeong. Every room at Eterno Cheongdam overlooks the Han River, and it’s conveniently located next to Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line. Across its four basement levels and twenty above floors, the building contains 29 units with sizes ranging from 244 to 497 square meters. The first round of sales was fully booked. Notoriety came to Eterno Cheongdam when singer IU paid 9.5 million USD (or 13 billion KRW) for a 244 square meter flat. Cho Young Shik, chairman of SD Biosensor, renowned for its COVID-19 diagnostic kits, also paid cash for a penthouse apartment valued at around 30 billion KRW (~21.6 million USD). The contract information of Son Heung Min cannot be confirmed, according to Nexplan.
