Song Ji Eun and Park We are set to marry the knot

Song Ji Eun personally replied to her admirers on Instagram on March 12th, confirming the marriage rumors and offering clarification on the article. This is what her message says:

Hi there. Was it a nice day for you?

Last night, as I was finishing off the recording for a show, I saw a lot of pieces about my marriage going around. I felt it was unfortunate that you had to learn about the news through publications, some of which contained false information, because my original intention was to break the news first to people who have been organizing our support.

Hey everyone, this fall, I’m getting married to the love of my life. Although the exact date of the wedding has not yet been set, I felt it was appropriate to address some of the questions that many people have. Therefore, last night, [I/we] quickly created a YouTube video to upload, and now I am sharing the news with you through this post.

It’s true that we intend to be married, but we haven’t settled on a date.

Being able to envision the future with someone who feels like the final piece missing from my life’s puzzle makes me joyful and appreciative. We would appreciate your support as we shortly become a married couple on a lovely autumn day. Any positive news will be announced here and on our “WERACLE” [YouTube] channel. Your genuine support always gives us courage. I love you and I’m grateful.


2009 saw Song Ji Eun make her stage debut with SECRET. Since then, she has acted in dramas including “The Man’s Voice,” “My Secret Romance,” and “Melting Me Softly.”

Park We is the son of director Park Chan Hong, who has directed films such as “Miraculous Brothers,” “Beautiful World,” and “Don’t Look Back: The Legend of Orpheus.” Park We experienced a potentially fatal fall from a 3-meter (about 10-foot) building in 2014, which severely damaged his spine and resulted in a full-body paralysis diagnosis. Despite the difficulties, he was able to partially recover because to his perseverance and commitment, and he now runs the YouTube channel “WERACLE” to inspire hope and increase awareness of individuals with disabilities.
