‘The Round Up: Punishment’ (directed by Huh Myungheng) has reached 10 million viewers, a major milestone for South Korean cinema. This makes it the first Korean series and 24th Korean feature to exceed triple ten million viewers. Including foreign films, it’s the 33rd. “The Round Up: Punishment” broke the box office record set by its predecessor by reaching 10 million viewers in 22 days—three days faster than the previous season in 2022.
