The Busan Student Project With BTS Jimin’s Donation Was Successful.1

Jimin’s Busan alma mater donation has funded junior student scholarships.
On November 1, Busan Ilbo reported that Green Umbrella Fund and Busan Ilbo raised 193 million won through the “Thank you, senior!” project to help alma concerns and close the educational gap in Busan. So, the money was used to establish a more egalitarian educational environment by giving 288 Busan students scholarships or learning expenses, replacing obsolete school infrastructure, and supporting learning technologies.

A touching tale was told. Rumor has it that a Busan High School of Arts junior who won a Jimin scholarship through the Green Umbrella Fund in August graduated and was accepted to their selected university as the top student.

The student wrote to the Green Umbrella Fund in Busan, “The scholarship allowed me to concentrate on my studies. I will impact others positively. Thank you”.

Jimin gave his scholarship to 28 juniors at his alma institution who excelled in dance, art, or music or were financially struggling. The substantial scholarship grant paid for student costumes and lessons.

Before, Jimin gave the Busan Office of Education 100 million won. He gently helps his juniors have a more equal educational environment and grow up healthy. In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, he gave to projects for pupils in protective custody and children in substandard housing.

Fans respected and admired Jimin because his scholarship assisted his juniors. Foreign media also commended Jimin for his education donations and influence.
