The Givers’ CEO Sent to Prosecution + FIFTY’s Agency Comments

Prosecution has received The Givers CEO.

ATTRAKT, FIFTY FIFTY’s agency, reported on February 16 that the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul informed them that “The case in which you filed a complaint against Ahn Sung Il for interference with business and damaging or destroying data processor or special media records has been recognized as a crime and has been forwarded [to the prosecution] (without detention).”

Last June, ATTRAKT filed a complaint with Gangnam Police Station against The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il for business interference, damage or destruction of data processor or special media records, and occupational breach of trust.

ATTRAKT source: Eight months after we filed a complaint against The Givers CEO and producer Ahn Sung Il, the first police investigation results were disclosed. The further case we filed on July 7, 2018, for occupational embezzlement, counterfeiting, and uttering forged private documents is still under investigation. We believe Ahn Sung Il will face more criminal charges.”

ATTRAKT suspected The Givers of seeking to “buyout” the group when FIFTY FIFTY filed an application for provisional disposition to cease their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT in June 2023. The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il was charged with business interference, damaging or destroying data processor or special media records, and occupational breach of trust by ATTRAKT in a Gangnam Police Station report.
