The Korean Netflix series ‘Mask Girl’ has enjoyed tremendous success since its premiere on August 18; as a result, numerous promotions have been conducted, one of which disclosed an unexpected connection between the recent production and the well-known K-Pop band BLACKPINK.
In the midst of the series’ immense popularity, the actress and protagonist of the drama, Lee Han Byeol, has been invited to a number of interviews in which she has divulged numerous intriguing details about ‘Mask Girl’; in one of these confessions, she revealed the strange connection between the series and a well-known girl group.

After the success of the show, the actress revealed that she had been training her dance routines with a dance instructor from YGX, which is a subsidiary of YG Entertainment, the agency that manages the girl group, so BLACKPINK also trains with these trainers.
In addition, the ‘Mask Girl’ production team offered the actress the opportunity to train with HEEEEYUN, the performer who choreographed the K-Pop group’s ‘THE SHOW’ and ‘World Tour’ tours. As she was training with one of South Korea’s finest instructors, the protagonist gained confidence in her abilities.
