The Story Of Two Friends Who Became Close To Squid Game Star In His Anonymous Years

Squid Game Star Huh Sungtae told an emotional story about how hard it was for him in the beginning of his work, when not many people knew about him.

He turned to two friends for cash help when things were tough. The answers these two friends gave Huh when he asked them to lend him 300,000 KRW, which is about $300 USD, were very different.

One of the friends replied with a lot of compassion and said he would give half of the amount asked for because that was all he had. Huh Sungtae was deeply moved by this friend’s kindness.

What the other person did, on the other hand, was very different. This person didn’t say anything in response to Huh’s plea for help, refusing to help him when he needed it.

Even though Huh Sungtae wanted to return this second friend’s lack of concern with kindness when things were going better for him, he knew that the person would not accept his help.

After getting popular in the Squid Game with big Korean stars like Lee Jung Jae, the friend who wasn’t responding at first later reached out to Huh Sungtae.This friend asked Huh to come to their wedding and encouraged him to join their party. Huh turned down the offer, though, because he had bad experiences with this friend not being there for him when things were tough.
