Thirty-Year-Old Lady Imprisoned For Threatening And Assaulting Celebrity/YouTuber Boyfriend

A judge of the Criminal Division 1 of the Uijeongbu District Court Namyangju Branch condemned lady ‘A’ (36) to 10 months in prison for coercion, assault, trespassing, and slander on February 24 KST.

In August 2022, ‘A’ was charged with threatening her celebrity and YouTuber ex-boyfriend ‘B’ (34), in his home. After 10 days of dating, ‘B’ wanted to split up with ‘A’. I can’t let you break up with me like way,” ‘A’ informed ‘B’. You said you feared criticism, right? What will happen if you do this now?”

‘A’ demanded ‘B’ pay her 5 million won (~ $3,800 USD). However, ‘B’ only had 2.4 million won in his bank account. ‘A’ said, “I need 5 million won but since I’m only getting 2.4 million won, I’ll slap your face 10 times for the rest of the payment.” The woman slapped ‘B’ face 10 times.


After leaving ‘B’s residence, ‘A’ tried to break in six more times the same day. Failing to do so, ‘A’ harassed and threatened ‘B’ by text and SNS, saying, “I’ll publicly publish how you sent me to depression therapy. How you played with me.” On ‘B’s YouTube channel, ‘A’ said, “You gave me herpes. “Do you think hiding will get you away with it?” fabricating false claims.


Considering ‘A’s “unreasonable demands for money and violent actions” and “severe mental damages inflicted on ‘B'”, the court sentenced him to prison.
