TWICE Is Nearing 1M Cumulative Viewers, Kicking Off World Tour Part 2

Girl group TWICE kicked off the second part of their fifth world tour with a bang in Singapore.

TWICE performed in Singapore on the 2nd and 3rd (local time) as part of their fifth world tour, ‘TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’. This tour, which began in April at the KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, passed through Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, as well as 13 performances in 9 regions of North America. They concluded Part 1 with notable accomplishments, including the first Japanese stadium concert by a K-pop girl group at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Japan and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, as well as entering and selling out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA and MetLife Stadium, and resumed the tour with a performance in Singapore. Part 2 began in a spectacular fashion.

On a stage of unprecedented size, the nine members captivated the audience with spectacular performances and boundless energy. During the ‘READY TO BE’ tour, the 9-person, 9-color solo stage, which is receiving the greatest response, elicited enthusiastic applause. Among them, Jiho and Jeongyeon’s new performance heightened the enthusiasm. Jeongyeon stunned the audience with her rendition of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” while Jihyo performed her solo debut song “Killin’ Me Good.”

The parade of popular songs that prompted people to chant along added to the scene’s atmosphere. The title track of the group’s twelfth mini-album and most recent release, ‘SET ME FREE,’ which peaked at No. 2 on the US Billboard main tally ‘Billboard 200,’ and the English single ‘The Feels,’ which entered the Billboard ‘Hot 100,’ are notable recent releases. ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE’ and other songs that received a great deal of adoration from global admirers enriched the performance. Additionally, the essential medley of the title song was incorporated to increase satisfaction.

Twice will conduct its first European tour since its debut in London, England on the seventh and eighth, Paris, France on the eleventh, and Berlin, Germany on the thirteenth and fourteenth. With great performances and the energy of its members, the group is anticipated to satisfy the longing of its local fans and expand its global presence.

Recently, Twice released the third tour poster for their fifth world tour and announcing additional tour dates. Four stadium performances will take place in four regions, including Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on November 4, International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia on December 23, Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico on February 3, 2024, and Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 6. The group is anticipated to conduct a 42-city, 25-date world tour and attract more than one million visitors.
