TWICE’s Dahyun Joins ‘You Are The Apple Of My Eye’ Korean Adaptation As Lead

TWICE’s Dahyun will star in the Korean version of Taiwanese film “You Are the Apple of My Eye,” bringing new life to the cherished romance story. Giddens Ko’s 2012 Korean film about first love and adolescent romance touched many. It follows school troublemaker Ko Ching-teng and honor student Shen Chia-yi as their relationship grows from classmates to more intimate. Dahyun will play the honor student, who is loved and initially watched over by her friends, such Shen Chia-yi. Dahyun’s portrayal of a beloved character from the original film is a milestone in her career. Dahyun confirmed her first starring role in the independent film “Sprint,” with Ha Seok-jin and Lee Sin-young, just before this casting decision. She plays an athlete in “Sprint,” adding a sports drama to her growing acting resume. As she prepares to play an Asian fan favorite genre as an actress, Dahyun’s fans’ eagerness grows.
