Following four hours of investigation and passing a preliminary drug test, G-Dragon returns home.
G-Dragon of Big Bang, who was detained on drug-related suspicions, tested negative in a preliminary drug test.
G-Dragon willingly showed up at the Nonhyeon Police Station in Incheon on the sixth to participate in his initial police inquiry into the drug use claims. When reporters questioned G-Dragon about the preliminary drug test results after four hours of interrogation, he replied, “It came out negative.”
On October 25, G-Dragon was formally charged under the Narcotics Control Act with drug-related offenses. He has continuously refuted the accusations, saying, “I have never used drugs,” and he willingly participated in the police inquiry, promising to assist completely and to turn over any relevant documents.
When asked if he accepted the accusations of drug use during his police station appearance, G-Dragon said, “I have not been involved in any drug-related crimes.” That’s why I came here to explain. I’ll go through the process and be cleared shortly.”
He said, “We’ll have to wait and see,” in response to the controversy surrounding his visits to a Gangnam entertainment venue. As for the claims made by establishment manager A that G-Dragon received free drugs, and the suspicion that a doctor B provided drugs for free, G-Dragon said, “They are not related.”
In order to calm his supporters, he even managed to remark, “Don’t worry too much; I’ll undergo the investigation and return.”
