South Korean band The Rose finished their ‘Dawn To Dusk’ international tour in Manila on January 26.
The quartet opened the show with “Eclipse,” then “Dawn” and “You’re Beautiful.” They performed hits like “RED,” “Back To Me,” “Time,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sorry,” “Sour,” and “She’s In The Rain,” ending with “Wonder.”
In one segment, Woosung praised the audience’s singing voice, adding, “They’re Filipinos because everyone can sing. Our concert today is The Rose with Black Roses.”
With their progress, the band reflected back “We’ve been together 7 years. We started making music in Hongdae, Korea. We performed on the streets. More than half of the 20-30 guests were our pals. In front of you after 7 years “they thought.
“Sharing our energy and music… We think this is music’s beauty. Music heals. Music may stir hearts. Music finds individuals. I believe music brought us together. All are connected by music. Many thanks for coming.”
This amazing love and enthusiasm will be treasured tonight. We appreciate your participation in this fantastic trip. Hope you had fun as we did today. Black Roses will follow our music “The Rose said.
After their Philippine event, The Rose will perform in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, the UK, France, and more. Coachella will feature them later this year.
