Wheesung To Return This Winter After Propofol Controversy

Wheesung announced a winter comeback amid his propofol use scandal. Wheesung tweeted on July 3: “My REALSLOW 1st album will be 19+. It’s 40% done and scheduled for winter release.” He continued, “Listeners who dislike provocative media should not expect it due to its explicit content. I’ve published R&B songs since my debut, but I wanted to warn you.” Wheesung was suspended from prison in 2019 for frequent propofol usage. Finally, his March 2019 digital single “Think About It,” was his last album. Despite his legal issues, he performed at year-end concerts in 2021 and appeared in drama OSTs, which were criticized as not self-reflective. Last July, he worried fans with a mental health message on social media. After nearly five years, Wheesung’s latest album marks his return to the music world. There’s intrigue regarding his music and how the public will react to his return.
