BTS member Jimin’s fans have expressed dissatisfaction with their agency.
DC Inside BTS’s Jimin Gallery and Twitter’s Jimin General Team have been holding truck demonstrations since November 13th in front of Hive’s headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, securities companies, and broadcasting companies.
Jimin’s fans expressed their dissatisfaction by releasing a statement on Novel Media X (formerly Twitter).
Fans demanded RIAA platinum certification for Jimin’s first mini-album title song ‘Like Crazy’, saying it was the first K-pop solo artist song released in 2023 to exceed 1 million units in the United States.
In addition, even though ‘Like Crazy’ ranked first on Spotify’s global chart, the Korean and English versions were separated due to errors such as the credit being suddenly modified. Spotify said that this separation occurred at the request of the agency. As we have revealed this, we have requested an explanation from the agency.
They also requested an explanation and apology for the fact that the ‘Like Crazy’ single CD was not restocked after the first sale was sold out in the United States.
Fans also strongly demanded that the agency take active legal action against the spread of false facts and leaks of personal information about Jimin in domestic online communities, SNS, YouTube, etc.
