KBS Judges ‘Wife’ By (G)I-DLE Unsuitable For Broadcasting Due To Obscene lyrics.

KBS called (G)I-DLE’s upcoming song “Wife” “unfit for broadcast” owing to its explicit lyrics. Due to its controversial title, the song, which Soyeon wrote, composed, and arranged, caused controversy upon its release on January 22 KST.

A song called “Rollie” scheduled to launch on January 29 KST was disqualified for mentioning product companies. On January 29, the group’s second full-length album, ‘Two,’ will feature both songs. If (G)I-DLE promotes these songs on KBS, lyrics must be changed.

(G)I-DLE is prepared for a busy promotional time for their January 29 album release. KBS’s decision has not yet been addressed by the agency.
