In downtown Seoul, a group of quick-thinking civilians banded together to move an overturned car following a collision, effectively saving the passengers inside. A mother and her two-year-old toddler were among those inside the vehicle, and they were fortunate to avoid major injury because to the quick response of these good Samaritans. On June 13, a startling explosion of white smoke rose from the wheels of a moving automobile. The car then accelerated rapidly and collided with a vehicle waiting at a traffic signal. The impact forced the hit automobile to flip over and land on its side, enveloping the road in a cloud of smoke.
Several spectators who saw the accident from the sidewalk ran to the upturned vehicle. Other drivers promptly stopped and ran to help. One witness stated, “There was a loud crash, and the car flipped over.” Within seconds, bystanders, including a few pedestrians, rushed over to assist.” Within moments, approximately ten citizens had assembled. They used their combined effort to put the flipped automobile back onto its wheels. They carefully opened the car doors to rescue the people inside. Inside the car were a woman and her two-year-old son. Surprisingly, neither suffered significant injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash was a guy in his sixties who reportedly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by accident. This accident injured six persons in total, including the mother and child, as well as others in the car ahead of them. Citizens’ prompt and selfless acts saved everyone involved from major damage.
