BTS Jungkook Won The First Place Trophy On MBC’s Show ‘Music Core’

“MBC’s ‘Music Core’: BTS’s Jungkook wins first place again, Jihyo and AKMU make comebacks

On the afternoon of August 26, MBC’s ‘Music Core’ featured Jungkook winning first place for the last week of August.

Jungkook was not able to attend ‘Music Core’ on the day, but global ARMY (fandom name) have been sending congratulatory messages as soon as the news of his first place win was announced. Jungkook released his first solo single, ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’, on the 14th of last month.

AKMU, whose fourth single ‘Love Lee’ was released on the 21st, returned with ‘Music Core’. Lee Chan-hyuk stated, “After a long time, it’s enjoyable to dance on stage and create beautiful facial expressions. I hope the fans appreciate it as well,” he said, conveying his feelings regarding the return.

The new album ‘Love Lee’ actively reflected Lee Soo-hyun’s views. He introduced the new album by stating, “Akmu has put aside the things he has been working hard to accomplish and has returned with lighthearted songs.”

Regarding the title track of the same name, Lee Chan-hyeok stated, “It would be ideal if you viewed it as the second iteration of our debut single ‘200%’. It is a composition that anyone can enjoy listening to.”
