BTS’s V Shared His Thoughts On His Collaboration With Min Heejin, The Head Of ADOR

On September 8, at 1:00 PM KST, BTS’s agency Big Hit Music released a video introducing V’s solo album, “Layover,” ahead of its release.

“Layover” is based on pop R&B genre, and includes a total of 6 songs, including the title track “Slow Dancing,” as well as the pre-released songs “Rainy Days,” “Love Me Again,” “Blue,” “For Us,” and the bonus track “Slow Dancing” (Piano Ver.)

V stated, “I included everything I enjoy doing and am skilled at on this album, which I created with executive producer Min Hee-jin. Even though this was our first time working together, we did an excellent job.”

He continued, “I desired to represent my own preferences and sensibilities, so I sought out a person who could maximise my sensibilities. Then, a notion occurred to me, and I immediately contacted them.” “A very cool album was released,” he continued. We communicated our opinions in minute detail. (Alongside Min Hee-jin) “When collaborating, it felt more like we were doing it because we liked each other than because we were being forced to,” he explained.

He also expressed his gratitude to Min Hee-jin, saying, “I actively voiced my opinions and shared many of the ideas in my mind, and they were actively reflected. Some may consider my delay of action a flaw, but I believe they have made it a defining characteristic of this album.”

He stated, “I was concerned about the type of music I should create and the image I should portray through this solo album, so I spoke with Min Hee-jin extensively about the album’s direction. I also concentrated on music, which I am excellent at and enjoy. He declared with pride, “I intend to attain my objective step by step and gradually. I wish to introduce it as straightforward but sincere.
