Seongmin Of CRAVITY Temporarily Halts Activities Due To His Mother’s Surgery

Seongmin, a CRAVITY member, will not be taking part in group activities at this time.
Starship Entertainment announced on CRAVITY’s official account on October 11th that Seongmin would be taking a temporary hiatus from his activities.

“Seongmin’s mother is about to undergo a major surgery due to her disease,” the agency stated. We think that this is the best course of action for Seongmin and his mother in order for Seongmin to be with his mother temporarily, after consulting with Seongmin and CRAVITY members.

“The group will continue activities with eight members, excluding Seongmin,” they said, going on, “and we ask for your support, encouragement, and understanding for Seongmin’s mother’s recovery.”

In 2020, Seongmin had his stage debut in CRAVITY. The group is doing a lot of advertising for the September 11th release of their sixth mini album, “SUN SEEKER.”

CRAVITY broke their own record for first-week sales with this album. In the 37th week of the Circle Chart, the album peaked at number one on the Album Chart with over 300,000 copies sold. Also at the top of the US Billboard “Hot Trending Songs” chart was the title track, “Ready or Not.”Me
