BTS Jimin Wins Best Artist Award And Global Artist Award At The Hanteo Music Awards

Jimin of BTS showed off his popularity by winning the Artist of the Year Award and the Global Artist Award twice at the K-Pop Awards.

Jimin won the Artist of the Year award, the main award, and the Global Artist in South America award at the ’31st Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2023′ held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on the 17th and 18th. & Oceania) Award.
Voting for the Hanteo Music Awards award category was held over two weeks from January 4 to 17 through the Whosfan app, a global K-pop fandom platform developed by Hanteo Global, and K-pop fans from 208 countries participated, with a total of 1 vote. A total of 76,814,396 votes were counted.

Even though Jimin is currently serving in the military, he showed his powerful presence by winning the Artist of the Year Award, the main award of the Hanteo Music Awards. She also showed off her extraordinary global popularity by winning two awards in the global artist category, from South America to Oceania.

Jimin released his first solo album ‘FACE’ on March 24th last year and sold 1.02 million copies on the first day of release, becoming the first million-seller by a solo singer in the history of Hanteo Chart, with initial sales (sales in the first week of album release) of 145. It has surpassed 10,000 copies, demonstrating its firm grip on the music industry.

Meanwhile, Jimin, who created a huge sensation that swept not only Korea but also the world with his debut solo activity last year, enlisted in December of last year and received the division commander’s commendation given to the top trainee among all trainees at the recruit training college completion ceremony, drawing attention for his exemplary military life and is currently in the spotlight. It is known that he is serving on active duty in the 5th Infantry Division.
