BTS Jungkook Breaks Record! K-pop Solo King Reigns On Billboard Hot 100 For 60 Weeks

BTS Jungkook proves his global popularity by entering Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for a cumulative total of 60 weeks.

According to the latest chart (as of February 3) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, the title song ‘Standing Next to You’ from Jungkook’s solo album ‘GOLDEN’ is ranked ‘Standing Next to You’ on the main single chart. It ranked 85th on the ‘Hot 100’, up 2 places compared to the previous week, and stayed on the chart for 12 consecutive weeks.


Accordingly, Jungkook’s 12 weeks with ‘Standing Next to You’, 15 weeks with his first solo single ‘Seven’, 9 weeks with his second solo single ‘3D’, and 9 weeks with the webtoon OST ‘Stay Alive’. They were on the ‘Hot 100’ chart for a total of 60 weeks with a total of 6 songs, including 1 week with ‘Left and Right’, 17 weeks with ‘Left and Right’, and 6 weeks with ‘Too much’. It is the first and only Asian solo singer to achieve this new record.
