BTS Jungkook Releases “3D” Music Video, A Message That Transcends Dimensions

Top idol group BTS member Jungkook has fired the starting gun for his second solo activity.

Jungkook released his second solo single “3D” (feat. Jack Harlow) on September 29 at 1 PM (KST) worldwide. “3D” is an R&B pop song with an impressive minimalist instrumental arrangement, with a catchy beat and repetitive sound that captivates the ear.

‘3D’ contains the message that we want to go beyond the first and second dimensions and meet you in the third dimension, and always be together as us. The combination of Jungkook’s attractive vocals, which reinterpreted the old school sound based on the hip-hop and dance of the mid-2000s, and American rapper Jack Harlow, who participated in the feature, created extreme synergy and doubled the atmosphere.

The ‘3D’ music video, filmed in Los Angeles, USA, expressed Jungkook as if he was moving through several dimensions on a set with a colorful atmosphere. Through devices such as stairs and mirrors, Jungkook metaphorically conveys the song’s message of wanting to see the ‘you’ he loves beyond dimensions.

This music video was helmed by Drew Kirsch, who has worked with Taylor Swift, Shakira, and Imagine Dragons, and completed a sophisticated production.

Additionally, featured artist Jack Harlow appeared in the music video and showed off perfect chemistry with Jungkook by playing chess and rapping with them. The scene where Jungkook destroys a fire hydrant and dances while enjoying a song under the pouring water with dancers captures the eyes and ears of the viewers.
