Day6, Billlie, And Fantasy Boyz Join The Second Lineup For The 1st ‘ASEA’

Groups DAY6, Billlie, and FANTASY BOYS to light up the stage at the ‘Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2024’

The first ‘ASIA STAR ENTERTAINER AWARDS (ASEA)’, where music, stars and fans become one, will be held on April 10th at ‘K-Arena Yokohama’ (hereinafter referred to as K-Arena) in Yokohama, Japan. The ASEA organizing committee officially announced on February 8 that Day6, Billy, and Fantasy Boys have confirmed their appearance.

This is the first time since DAY6 has performed at an awards ceremony as a complete group. Day6, which debuted in 2015, has achieved significant achievements such as exceeding 100 live performances in 4 years, holding two world tours, and winning the ‘2020 MAMA’ Best Band Performance Award, and has been recognized as an irreplaceable ‘K-pop representative global band’ and ‘I can believe it’. ‘(Day6) has established itself as a trustworthy and listenable group. After ending their period of group activity in November of last year, they proved their powerful ticket power by selling out all tickets for their solo concert in December, and continued to show off their success with ‘You Were Pretty’ released 7 years ago and ‘So We Can Become One Page’ released 5 years ago. It is climbing the music charts and receiving passionate love from countless listeners.

Billy, who entered the music industry in 2021, is loved by K-pop fans based on his interesting world view and outstanding live performance capabilities. The 4th mini-album ‘the Billage of perception: chapter three’, released in March last year, was ranked as one of the US Billboard’s ’25 Best K-POP Albums of 2023′ in December last year. It is attracting attention overseas as well, including being selected as Pop Albums of 2023). Thanks to this momentum, they plan to carry out active activities in the local area, including the official debut of their first Japanese mini album ‘Knock-on Effect’ on February 7th and a concert at Jeff Haneda in Tokyo on the 9th.
Fantasy Boys are global super rookies created through MBC’s survival show ‘After School Excitement Season 2 – Boys’ Fantasy’, which ended in June last year. It is led by CEO Kim Gwang-soo of Pocket Idol Studio, a Midas hand in the music industry who participated in the production of albums by musicians representing the era such as Kim Wan-sun, Yoon Sang, Noh Young-sim, Jo Sung-mo, Lee Hyo-ri, SG Wannabe, Seeya, Davichi, and T-ara. Prior to their official debut, they proved their solid local fandom by selling out a large-scale Japanese fan concert, and since debuting with their first mini album ‘NEW TOMORROW’ in September last year, they have been active at home and abroad and are continuing their upward trend.

ASEA 2024′ is hosted by ‘NewsN’, an entertainment and sports media outlet, and ‘At Style’ (@star1), an online entertainment media outlet that publishes Star & Style Magazine, and is organized by the ASEA Organizing Committee.

In ‘ASEA2024′, top-class K-POP artists and Asian singers who have achieved significant achievements on the world stage over the past year will participate to create a spectacular stage. The MCs will be Girls’ Generation’s Kwon Yuri and 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon, while the grand prize awards will be given to actors Song Seung-heon and Jeon Yeo-bin. The first lineup released on the 5th included THE BOYZ, STAYC, and NiziU.

K-Arena, where the ‘ASEA 2024’ stage will be held, opened in September 2023 with a capacity of 20,000 seats. It is the world’s largest music-only concert hall. K-Arena is located about 30 minutes from central Tokyo, where performances by many artists, including K-POP stars, are held every day.

Meanwhile, ‘ASEA2024’ plans to sequentially announce artist lineup, award categories, and judging criteria through the official website.
