Entertainment Industry Women Drinkers: Shin Hye-Sun To Soyou

Talk shows and other content have highlighted certain female celebrities’ drinking talents.
Famous female drinkers include Shin Hye-sun, singer Soyou, Kim Hee-sun, So Yi-hyun, and Jeon So-min.

Shin Hye-sun joked on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” about her drinking. She said she drank over 20 soju bottles with two others and played drunk.

Soyou discussed her love of booze and her 2.5-bottle tolerance on YouTube. She also attempted 9 bottles at her peak at 22.

Kim Hee-sun said her management worried about her consuming up to “20 nips of somaek (soju + beer)”.

On KBS 2TV’s “Problem Child in House” in July 2021, So Yi-hyun revealed her highest drinking capacity of 6-7 bottles.

Jeon So-min previously drank from 6 PM until 5 AM, ingesting 11-12 bottles.
