Pocketdol Studio Denied Yu Jun-won’s Claims About FANTASY BOYS’s Unfair Fees And Contract.

In the afternoon of October 17, the Seoul Western District Court No. 417 in Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, interrogated Yu Jun-won to suspend the exclusive contract filed against Picketdol Studio.

Yoo Joon-won stressed that the agency’s false growth damaged confidence, not the profit sharing ratio, when he declined to sign with Pocketdol Studio. “The contract was not first received by all members, and I could not understand why Chairman Kim Kwang-soo collected our cell phones; Pocketdol required us to sign the contract, pay high fixed fees, and pay for golf entertainment, PR, and accounting staff labor. Thus, I lost faith, and the situation is irreparable.”

However, Picketdol Studio denied, “Right now, he is insisting on just two things in his application form. He still maintains, “It is unfair” and “We made an unfair request,” but he cannot explain what is unfair in the debtor’s exclusive contract annexation agreement. Only the cost-related element exists. According to the text, the debtor’s subsidiary agreement is based on the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s standard contract. Even a second examination shows no unfair content. According to calculations, he will pay 2.7 million won per month. That doesn’t imply he has to pay monthly, but you’ll deduct revenue. All celebrity contracts include this. We don’t understand his claim that this is unfair because the normal contract demands deducting expenditures and allocating what’s left. The firm added, “He didn’t properly check his performance contract and said the Japanese concert was unfair treatment, but he agreed to do a Japanese concert when he was on the show.”

Yu Jun-won’s side informed Star News after the trial, “At the moment, the other party’s position came out too late, so we need to refute it, so we asked for a deadline. We will submit a document explaining our position.”

After winning MBC’s Fantasy Boys survival audition, Yu Jun-won was set to join the 12-member rookie boy group on September 21st. Pocketdol Studio, the show’s producer, announced on August 23 that Fantasy Boys will become an 11-member group. The agency stated they discussed the contract with Yu Jun-won and his parents multiple times, but they wanted a revision to boost the profit distribution rate by comparing it to other members.

Yu Jun-won revealed Pocketdol Studio’s harsh demands and agreement.

Pockeydol Studio sued the idol for 3 billion won in damages at the Seoul Central District Court on the 13th of last month after a heated dispute.
