Former Labelmates Express Support For Girls’ Generation’s Sunny After Her Departure From SM Entertainment

When Girls’ Generation’s Sunny departed SM Entertainment, her former labelmates expressed their support.

The Girls’ Generation member Sooyoung responded to Sunny’s Instagram post proclaiming her departure from SM Entertainment on August 8. Sooyoung expressed his support by stating, “Sunny, I will always root for you and be by your side.” Former labelmate BoA added, “We’ll always support Sunny no matter what.”

Sunny severed ways with the label after sixteen years, informing his followers on Instagram. Sunny’s uncle, the agency’s erstwhile founder and chairman Lee Soo Man, resigned in March, prompting the departure of the Girls’ Generation member.
