Gyubin Finished Collaborative Trilogy With ‘Special’ Featuring Kim Jong Wan Of NELL

Gyubin releases ‘Special’ featuring Kim Jong Wan of NELL, A completing the trilogy of cooperation projects.

Singer-songwriter Gyubin, who just released her single “Special,” starring Kim Jong Wan of NELL, brings her cooperation project trilogy to a close.

“Scribble” featuring Wonstein (September 2023) and “Start To Shine” with GAEKO of Dynamic Duo (November 2023) were the first two releases of this trilogy. Due to their success, “Scribble” and “Start to Shine,” which were both released prior to GYUBIN’s actual music debut, gained her the moniker “super rookie.”

“I worked with Kim Jong Wan of NELL, a senior that I genuinely admire, and we had a great time making this track together. I was nervous, excited, and grateful.” It’s unreal, but this is the 100th day that “Really Like You” has brought me such affection. Gyubin sent a press release, saying, “I present the gift of ‘Special’ to all my special fans who have been with me for 100 days.”

“In the end, ‘Special’ sings of hope.” Kim Jong Wan stated, “I hope that everyone who is going through a difficult time can find a lot of support from this song.”

The song’s message of consolation is intended for young listeners who could be going through lonely moments. The vocalists want the audience to know that they are unique in their own right, regardless of what others may think. In addition, Gyubin is giving this song as a gift to her fans in observance of the 100 days that have passed since the release of her hugely popular debut single, “Really Like You,” which was released in January and has since been streamed over eight million times on Spotify and entered the Viral 50 Spotify Chart in a number of countries, including South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
