HYBE Audits ADOR Management, Demands CEO Min Hee-jin’s r Resignation

HYBE is auditing ADOR, a subsidiary label that includes NewJeans, management.

As per shareholder rights, HYBE held a shareholders’ meeting of its subsidiary ADOR on the 22nd and sought CEO Min Hee-jin’s resignation.

Initial reports suggest this move is meant to hold ADOR management accountable for attempting to steal management privileges and nominate more HYBE directors.

CEO Min Hee-jin created ADOR in 2021, with HYBE owning 80% of the shares. CEO Min and other ADOR executives own 20%.

HYBE informed DongA.com that “the audit rights have been activated.”

CEO Min Hee-jin is a famous SM Entertainment producer that created concepts and branding for Girls’ Generation, SHINee, and EXO. After joining HYBE, she branded and designed the new Yongsan headquarters and launched NewJeans in 2022, HYBE’s main girl group.
