Jungkook Reached “Golden Moment” With 1.15 Million ARMYs, RM I’m Proud Of You

BTS’s Jungkook gave ARMY a “golden” experience.
On November 20, BTS’s Jungkook held the fan showcase “Jung Kook ‘GOLDEN’ Live On Stage” at Jangchung Arena in Jung-gu, Seoul at 8 PM. Each song from his solo album “GOLDEN” was performed at this showcase, providing wonderful experiences for 2,800 fans.

Jungkook began the presentation with “Standing Next to You” and “Yes or No” and told the packed audience, “(This showcase) is a place and space prepared solely for ARMY. I eagerly prepared to meet ARMY and perform. I’ll try my hardest since you’re seeing my first long solo show.” Fans waved lightsticks and sang Jungkook’s name from the first song.

Jungkook performed “Somebody”, “Hate You”, “Shot Glass of Tears” and “Too Sad To Dance” off his solo album for the first time. He then played “Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer),” “3D (feat. Jack Harlow),” “Please Don’t Change (feat. DJ Snake),” and “Seven (feat. Latto). He delighted the audience with his live singing and talents, eliciting applause and singalongs.

Jungkook encored with BTS’s “Magic Shop”. He said, “I’m happy to release ‘GOLDEN’ and sing in front of everyone. I suppose meeting you made me better. I love you and am grateful always. Army is my life. Don’t forget I’ll be with you anytime, anyplace.

RM said, “You’re really cool and I’m proud of you,” at the concert. You’re the youngest, but I learn from you.” This message reinforced their solid friendship.

Jungkook sang his 2020 self-composed song “Still With You” at the showcase finale. Jungkook performed 12 songs in the two-hour program, creating a concert-like fan presentation. The audience applauded long after Jungkook left.

This fan presentation showed Jungkook’s dedication to fans. Jungkook used a hexagonal stage in the center of the venue to interact with the audience. He also gave all fans disposable film cameras, creating a fan showcase of affection.

Weverse streamed the event live for people who couldn’t attend. At its peak, 1,159,460 fans from 224 countries/regions watched the fan display.
