YG Entertainment said it is still negotiating new exclusive contracts with the artists and will disclose the results soon. YG Entertainment said, “A new exclusive contract with the musicians is being negotiated as of the disclosure date. Disclosures of critical management matters relating to investment decisions will reveal the end results.”
YG Entertainment has been negotiating with BLACKPINK since August, when their exclusive contracts expired. Media reports indicate that Rose was the only member to renew her contract with YG, leading to speculation that Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa have not renewed their contracts.
This is YG’s first news on BLACKPINK’s contract renewal in two months.
