K-netizens Wonder How ILLIT Members Feel About Being Called “Copycat Group”

K-netizens wonder how ILLIT members feel about being called “copycat group”

ILLIT has been accused of duplicating NewJeans, causing a conflict between ADOR and HYBE.

Korea’s netizens have recently focused on how the youthful members feel about HYBE’s current scandal and being branded a “copycat group.”

One netizen of the prominent online forum Nate Pann asked ILLIT members if they were aware of the incident. Netizen: “ILLIT members don’t know anything? lol, citing the ILLIT member’s last interview.

The members discussed their ‘Magnetic’ success on ‘Cult Two’, with Yunah saying, “I appreciate the company team. Each Belift Lab team member knows how much work went into our debut record. Very proud. Despite our infrequent thanks, I think you all know our hearts.”

The netizen said that ILLIT shared this following Min Hee Jin’s statement on April 24 and that they were aware of ADOR’s issue and being dubbed copycats.

Other Korean netizens said, “They should show gratitude. What else can they say

“I think their company needs to take the blame, not the girls.”
They copied, but I think this was a declaration of love for the team. ILLIT members should compare and see. Find your own routes and leave when your contracts end.”

“Rookies and minors. They know what?”

They may not know anything, but that’s a problem. Presenting a project to the public as a spokesperson requires knowledge, right? What distinguishes idols from dolls if they only dance and sing without knowing where their choreography came from or what inspired their concept? Unless they’re going to explain everything like Min Hee Jin, they should drastically raise the debut age range…”

“I feel bad for them and wish them success.”
