LE SSERAFIM’s “EASY” Is Gaining Popularity

LE SSERAFIM’s new song “EASY” is on a roll.

The title song ‘EASY’ of Le Seraphim’s (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Heo Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) 3rd mini album was ranked 6th on Melon’s real-time chart ‘Top 100’ at 11 PM on the 25th. Since Le Seraphim performed on the first music show Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 22nd, the chart ranking of ‘EASY’ has been on the rise. Le Seraphim is shaking up the game by rapidly rising the rankings on the domestic charts, where a great battle between music powerhouses is underway.

‘EASY’ set a new record for the most streaming in one day among Le Seraphim’s songs on Spotify on the 22nd, and continues to enjoy steady popularity to this day. According to the latest chart of Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform (as of February 24), this song ranked 60th in ‘Daily Top Song Global’ and 112th in ‘Daily Top Song US’, performing well for 6 consecutive days. ‘EASY’ also ranked 18th in the latest (as of February 24th) Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Top 100: Global’, up 2 places from the previous day. Le Seraphim proved its global popularity by performing well on Spotify and Apple Music, which account for about 44% of the global music streaming market share (based on 2023 statistics from North American IT market research company Media Research).

‘Smart’, included in the same album, is also popular. This song was ranked 165th in Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global’ as of the 24th, and it is surprising that it remained in the rankings for 5 consecutive days without any significant activity. When Le Seraphim was promoting their first full-length album in May last year, the title song ‘UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)’ and the b-side song ‘Eve, Psyche, and Bluebeard’s Wife’ became hits at the same time. In this 3rd mini album, ‘EASY’ and ‘Smart’ are expected to recreate the popular ‘Ssangkkeul’.

Meanwhile, Le Seraphim will appear at America’s largest music festival, ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ (hereinafter ‘Coachella’) on April 13th and 20th (local time).
