SHINee’s #TAEMIN’s ‘MOVE’ Reaches 100 Million Spotify Streams! Content Tag

SHINee Charts (@shineecharts on X) stated today that TAEMIN’s classic song ‘MOVE’ has reached 100 million Spotify streams. The song is TAEMIN’s and SHINee’s first to attain this milestone.

Monday, October 16, 2017, marked the release of TAEMIN’s ‘MOVE’ (The 2nd Full Album) with the same title track. Curtis A. Richardson, Adien Lewis, and Angélique Cinélu wrote and produced ‘MOVE’ with lyrics by Seo Ji-eum.

TAEMIN incorporates seductive R&B, pop instrumentals, and soft electronic elements in ‘MOVE’ to entice listeners to move (Tamar Herman of Billboard).
Critics lauded TAEMIN’s ‘MOVE’ for breaking gender lines. It popularized genderless performing approaches among male K-pop idols.

After a live performance at Seoul Fashion Week, the song’s choreography became viral, motivating fans and celebrities to cover it. Often called “MOVE DISEASE”. TAEMIN received Best Dance Performance Solo at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
