YG Entertainment and Avex to Hold Joint Public Audition to Discover Next Generation of K-Pop Stars.

YG Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as YG) announced on the 13th that it will hold ‘YG x avex Audition 2024’ with Japan’s avex. This is the first joint audition conducted by two entertainment companies representing Korea and Japan in about eight years since ‘YOUNGUNS AUDITION’ in 2016.

YG and avex will hold 10 large-scale auditions in 7 major cities in Japan, including Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, and Okinawa. On-site auditions are conducted based on online video screening, and selected applicants undergo additional screening.

Anyone born between 2003 and 2013 can apply for this audition, regardless of gender and nationality. Applications can only be made online from the 13th to March 10th. Detailed information can be found on the ‘YG x avex Audition 2024’ official website.
