Yuqi From (G)I-DLE Launches Her Solo Career At The Fan Showcase Event.

Yuqi, who is a part of (G)I-DLE, has formally announced the beginning of her solo career. A fan event celebrating the release of Yuqi’s first mini album, “YUQ1,” was held in Seoul on April 23. She simultaneously used her official YouTube channel to interact with admirers all over the world.

Yuqi captivated the audience throughout the showcase by performing songs from her mini album. The evening was made much more exciting by the unexpected entrance of fellow (G)I-DLE member Minnie as the MC.

Yuqi engaged her followers with anecdotes and insights by sharing behind-the-scenes stories about her record. She was able to communicate with followers all over the world via simultaneous online and live broadcasts in a unique segment.

Yuqi and Minnie gave a moving performance to close the showcase, during which Yuqi shared her thanks and goals for her solo career. “I never thought I would release a solo album like this,” she said. I plan to work constructively and radiate my warm heart like a tiny sun, as I have produced an album that is authentically myself.”

Following the exhibition, Yuqi will begin her solo career with an appearance on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” which is set to premiere on April 25 at 6 PM. Fans have been awaiting her next performances and solo projects eagerly since (G)I-DLE’s debut six years ago.
