RM’s 2nd solo album was announced on April 26 KST, shocking fans since RM is presently serving his military service. RM’s pre-enlistment new album will be released on May 24 at midnight EST / 1 PM KST.

The news raised questions among netizens about whether HYBE’s actions matched its days-earlier promise to “provide full support so that NewJeans’ comeback plans will not be affected by recent events.”

Many pointed out that NewJeans’ new single album, ‘How Sweet’, was announced much earlier on March 26, and they couldn’t see why HYBE would benefit from releasing RM’s ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ on May 24 at midnight EST / 1 PM KST.
